CCH Supports World Elder Abuse Awareness Day
On Thursday, June 25, 2026, members of the CCH Management Team joined the March Against Elder Abuse for World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. Over 150 concerned citizens marched through the streets of Plymouth carrying signs and chanting messages like “Protect our Seniors, Respect our Seniors”, “See Something, Say Something”, “Abuse is Everyone’s Business”, “Treat Elders with Dignity and Respect”, “Stop Elder Abuse”, and more. Old Colony Elder Services (OCES) coordinated two marches in Brockton and Plymouth to raise awareness for Elder Abuse. It happens every day to our seniors and we need to take it seriously. Elder Abuse comes in all forms; verbal, physical, financial, sexual. Seniors in today’s world need our help to protect their rights and their dignity. You can make a difference by reporting Elder Abuse to 1-800-922-2275. To learn more read the Department of Public Health’s 105 CMR 155.000 posted in the FAQs section of our website.
